Join Our Team as an Activities Co-ordinator in Biggar!

Are you a dynamic and enthusiastic individual with a passion for enhancing the lives of others? Do you have a knack for organising engaging activities and events? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Activities Co-ordinator to join our Care Team in Biggar. In this role, you will play a crucial part in creating a stimulating and enjoyable environment for our residents, ensuring they have access to a variety of activities that cater to their interests and needs.

As an Activities Co-ordinator, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing a diverse programme of activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Engaging with residents to understand their preferences and encourage their participation in activities.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and external organisations to enhance the range of activities available.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of activities, making adjustments as needed to ensure the best outcomes.
  • Maintaining accurate records of participation and feedback to continually improve our offerings.

We are seeking candidates who possess:

  • A genuine passion for working with individuals in a care setting.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Creativity and resourcefulness in planning engaging activities.
  • Experience in a similar role would be advantageous, but not essential.
